Just as the title asks ... girls which do you prefer to wear and why? Guys which do you prefer girls to wear and why?
First of all, you need to explain as most of the users here are from the US, that knickers are what they term panties.
Personally I don't care what they wear, as long as they are clean, because it's what's in them that interests me most. It's up to the lady in question to wear what she is most comfortable in, as it's she who wears them, not me.
If a girl is clean, horny, and has the desire to please as well as to be pleased, that to me is sexier than what she chooses to wear. that being said, I find thongs extremeley sexy. especially when that's all she's wearing. Nickers can be nice as well if they're tasteful, silk, satin, etc.
Well clearly its the woman's choice, that's a given. What I prefer to see are knickers. I don't care if they're briefs, pants, french cut or whatever, but if she's wearing something, let it look like and leave something to the imagination. Thongs just look disgusting. By the way, I know to you Aussies, thongs are footwear, so what do you call the disgusting string-like attire?

As to the underwear, without getting too personal, I don't think you'd find many girls who are exclusively one thing or the other. There are times that call for comfort, and there are times that call for something sleek and sexy. I'm a particular fan of the little lacy french cut, like little shorts, since they don't give a VPL, don't creep up your butt, and are, I think, a nicer thing aesthetically than a g-string.
We also call the sandal type with the thingy that goes between your toes, thongs. The panties with the thingy between your butt cheeks, is also a thong to us. See the resemblence? hehehehe! In saying that, I wear a bit of both. As Erin said, there are times you want to be sexy and times you just want to be plain comfy. Like going to the doctors, I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing a thong, just in case he needs you to get in a gown. hehehe Can you tell this has happened to me before? smiles! although, I was out of it, so didn't really mind. When I was in Australia, I didn't know that thongs mean what they mean so imagine my slight surprise at how freely and easily girls would say things like "god it's so good to take my thongs off" or "I really need to wash my thongs before wearing them again" ....
I wear thongs mainly, but sometimes I'll wear like the bikini cut panties. IT really just depends on my mood.

I prefer panties, they are just more comfortable, or those cute little sets of baby-doll boxers, sort of like the French cut style I think, that come with a matching bra. They're usually a set and match in some cute pattern or material. But comando's fun too. Thongs just seem sort of skanky, not slinky, or hot, but skanky and eeeewww. I mean who wants to see a girl's but cheeks all sticking out with a tiny piece of material practically crawling up her bum?
So how often do you go commando?
And do blind girls buy underwear based mostly on what it looks like or what it feels like?

Gawd, I'm so easily amused. lol If you want to leave something to the imagination and make a big production of taking it off, tantalizing and teasing go for it, long live the modest and cute nickers. And if you want to show your uninhibited, natural love for sex or for the female form than forget the clothes all together: celebrate the beauty of the human body but don't let a tiny pair of undies look as if it's trying to flausse your bottom cheeks.
